St. Petersburg Roof Rejuvenation, Priced Line by Line
Shingle rejuvenation, soft washing and small repairs for aging asphalt roofs. Each step carries its own price, so the total never hides anything.
Get your roof quoted — (727) 485-9619What shows up on your quote
No bundles and no lump sums. Washing, repairs and treatment are costed one by one, and you sign off on whichever you want.
- Washing
- Only when algae or grime would block the treatment. The figure follows the roof's area and the amount of growth on it.
- Repairs
- Lifted shingles, cracked pipe boots, loose flashing. Each fix listed by name, so nothing is vague.
- Treatment
- The rejuvenator itself, priced on roof area, pitch and how much the shingles will absorb.
- Follow-up
- A check-in after the roof settles. Optional upkeep visits are quoted separately if you want them.
If something new turns up while we are on the roof, work stops on that item until you have seen it and agreed a price. The total you approved is the total you pay.

Why shingles give up before their time
Think of a shingle as a fiberglass sheet saturated with asphalt, topped with crushed stone. Light oils locked inside that asphalt are what let the shingle bend. Years of strong sun drive those oils off, and the shingle turns stiff. Stiff shingles crack along their edges when the wind gets under them, and they let go of their granules faster, which leaves the asphalt exposed to even more sun.
Rejuvenation is a plant-based oil sprayed onto the roof. It soaks in and replaces some of what was lost, so the shingles flex again and hang onto their granules longer. It is not a coating and it is not a repair. It works on roofs that are tired but still intact, and it is pointless on roofs that are already failing.
Is your roof the right kind of tired?
Treatment suits a particular stage of wear. Here is how to tell which side of the line you are on.
Worth a quote
- Asphalt shingles that still lie flat
- Color that has gone flat and dusty
- Granules collecting in gutters
- No water getting inside
Probably past it
- Ceiling stains or a damp attic
- Shingles that crack when flexed
- Bare patches where granules are gone
- Sagging or soft areas on the deck
Three things people assume
"It is a sealant."
It is not. Nothing sits on top of the shingle. The oil soaks into the asphalt and the surface looks much as it did.
"Any roof can be treated."
Only asphalt shingles in reasonable shape. Tile, metal and flat roofs need different care, and failing shingles need replacing.
"It replaces maintenance."
A treated roof still needs clear gutters, sound flashing and an occasional look. Treatment just slows the aging.
When to book in St. Petersburg
Treatment needs a few dry hours after it goes on, so the long, wet summer afternoons are the tricky part of the year. Late autumn through spring is the easiest stretch to schedule, with more settled weather and cooler mornings on the roof. That said, we treat year-round; in summer we simply start early and keep a close eye on the forecast. If storm season is on its way and your roof is borderline, an inspection beforehand tells you whether to treat now or wait.
Treating versus re-roofing
Treatment
A few hours on the roof, no tear-off, no debris and no dumpster on the drive. The existing shingles stay and become more flexible, delaying the day a new roof is needed.
Re-roofing
The right choice once shingles are cracked, missing or letting water in. If that is what we find, the quote says so, and your roofer gets our notes and photos.
Why homeowners here hire us
Four habits we keep on every job.
Prices you can read
Your quote names every task beside its price. Say yes to the lot, to a few lines, or to nothing.
An honest verdict
If the shingles are too far gone, we say so before quoting treatment, and we tell you what we saw.
Careful crews
Plants, screens, pool cages and cars are protected before the first drop goes down, and checked again before we pack up.
One crew, start to finish
The people who quote the roof are the people who treat it, so nothing gets lost between visits.
From phone call to treated roof
Three steps. Most homes go from first call to finished job in a couple of weeks, weather allowing.
Look and quote
We inspect the roof, test the shingles by hand and give you an itemized price.
Prepare
Washing and repairs you approved are done first, with dry days left before treatment.
Treat and check
Treatment goes on in good weather, then we check back once it has settled in.
Before you book
The questions we hear most from St. Petersburg homeowners.
- How much extra life does treatment give?
- That varies with dryness and with how much stone coating survives. For a strong candidate, replacement moves several years further off. Your inspection shows which camp the roof is in.
- Which roofs make good candidates?
- Shingles that are faded and stiff but still flat and complete are the usual candidates. A quick inspection settles it either way.
- My roof already leaks. Can you still treat it?
- Not until the leak is fixed. Treatment does not stop water. Small fixes we can handle; bigger ones go to a roofer first.
- How long are you at the house?
- Treatment on an average home takes a few hours. Washing or repairs, if needed, happen on an earlier visit.
- Can a roof be treated a second time?
- Often, yes, if it is still in reasonable shape when the first treatment wears down. We would check it before suggesting it.
- Will walking on the roof damage it?
- Our crews wear soft-soled shoes, step carefully on older shingles and avoid walking more than needed.
- Do you handle tile, metal or flat roofing?
- Tile, yes: we clean it and apply a clear sealer. Metal and flat roofing, no. The rejuvenating oil itself goes only on asphalt.

A small team that writes things down
Roof Rejuvenation St Petersburg was set up around one idea: homeowners should see exactly what they are paying for. Every quote is itemized, every repair is photographed and every treatment day ends with a walk-round. The crew is small on purpose, so the person who quoted your roof is usually the one standing on it.
