So we split everything out. Washing, each repair and the treatment itself each get their own line and their own price. You decide what goes ahead. If the inspection shows treatment will not help, the quote says so in plain terms, along with what we saw.
That approach also keeps us honest about the work. When every step is written down, every step has to be done properly.
